Jeffrey Ding earns Stanley Award for International Research

Jeffrey Ding, a second-year undergraduate student in economics, political science, and Chinese, will pursue a project abroad thanks in part to a $2,500 Stanley Award for International Research.

Jeffrey, originally from Iowa City, IA, will travel to Shanghai, China, to investigate Chinese public opinion in response to increased pollution levels.

Funded by the Stanley-University of Iowa Foundation Support Organization, the Stanley Awards send UI undergraduate and graduate students to locations around the world. Student spend at least four weeks abroad pursuing projects they couldn't conduct on campus.
