Asli Tahan participates in annual University of Iowa research festival
2015 May 28
Asli Tahan, a native of Iowa City, IA, was one of approximately 140 students to participate in the University of Iowa's 11th annual Spring Undergraduate Research Festival.
The annual festival celebrates student contributions to research, scholarly, and creative work at the UI. Utilizing posters or other visual displays, undergraduates showcased their work, either as an independent project or with a faculty mentor.
This year, over 30 different academic departments and each of the four undergraduate classes were represented. This event is hosted by the Iowa Center for Research by Undergraduates (ICRU), which promotes undergraduate involvement in research and creative projects at the University of Iowa.
