Alyssa Billmeyer earns national recognition by professional organization

Alyssa Billmeyer, a third-year pharmacy student from Marion, IA, has been appointed vice chair for the 2015-2016 American Pharmacist Association-Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP) Policy National Standing Committee.

Billmeyer was one of four U.S. students selected to serve on the committee.

The mission of the APhA-ASP is to be the collective voice of student pharmacists, to provide opportunities for professional growth, to improve patient care, and to envision and advance the future of pharmacy.
